Keeping in view the need of the member countries in planning and implementing their rural development projects, it is proposed to provide such countries with the needed experience, expertise and guidance by way of making available the services of experts in specific fields. On receipt of such request from member countries, experts are deputed. AARDO Secretariat has a data bank of experts available in various fields and their services are provided to member countries as and when required.

Under the programme, AARDO meets expenses on both ways air fare (economy class) and pays honorarium for the first month to expert/consultant. The beneficiary country is required to meet the expenses on local hospitality, including board and lodging, local transportation, etc., and also pay honorarium from second month onwards. 
 

India also possesses a large repository of trained agricultural scientist and has around 45 institutions working in diverse field of agriculture on a wide variety of issues. Services of experts/consultants are available on deputation for AARDO member countries on request.
