After receiving Diploma in Agriculture in 1969, I was employed as Assistant Agric. Joined University Pertanian Malaysia as Assistant Lecturer in 1973 and later became lecturer (1 976), Associate Professor (1983) and Professor in Entomology & Pest Management (1993). Appointed Head of Plant Protection Dept. (1 976), Deputy Dean, Fac. Of Agri. (1 993) and Dean, Fac. Of Agric. (1997).
