As identified by
the member countries to learn from the experience of other
member countries in the rural/agricultural development and
allied fields. Two (2) study visits at international level
and four (4) at regional level in each regional will be
undertaken annually. |

requirement of the member countries to give advice and
guidance in formulation, implementation and evaluation of
rural development programmes. |

Research Studies |
Research
studies/action research will be undertaken in collaboration
with research institutes, universities, and NGOs located in
member countries during 2009-2011 on themes relevant to
them. |

VI |
Development
Pilot Projects |
During
2009-2011, AARDO will give priority to those projects which
focus on capacity building of the rural poor, capital
formation by landless poor, agricultural labour and
artisans, protection of bio-diversity; and any other
innovative action research based project. A maximum of
eighteen (18) pilot development projects during 2009-2011 in
member countries will be taken up.
